House organ
The house organ at Burgunderstrasse 6 was rebuilt in 2021 as a two-manual instrument by organ builder Roman Steiner, reusing pipes and case from the house organ built by Werner Bucher in 1983-1986. The organ was inspired by consort instruments that juxtapose principal colors in the 1st manual with flute colors in the 2nd manual. Important inspiration was provided by the Italian organ (Organo di Legno) of the Silver Chapel in Innsbruck from 1614.
The idea of reuse, quite familiar to Italian organ building, also plays a role here. For example, some of the wood used in the construction of the pipes and cases comes from the Basel Sperrgut. Some fillings of the marbled case sides were tea chests from Mr. Manger’s store. The solid walnut wood for the construction of the Nasat 2 2/3 ́ comes from old store shelves of the former pharmacy St. Leonhard of Edgar Platz.
The color scheme of the old case was created at the time by the painter and restorer Walter Egloff, the additions and adjustments we owe master painter Mirco Gutzwiller.

Table piano
With push-tongue action by Adam Beyer, London 1776, restored in the workshop for historical keyboard instruments Georg F. Senn in Binningen (Switzerland). The English table piano corresponds as closely as possible to an instrument owned by Johann Christian Bach.
It is suitable for English as well as early Iberian and Italian music, such as the sonatas of Lodovico Giustini and Baldassarre Galuppi.
Early piano concertos in chamber settings also come off well on it.

Unbound clavichord
By Anthony Sidey/Werner Bucher with a range from C up to d3.
This instrument is suitable for solo music of the 17. and 18th century, which is about delicate shades and not so much about power (Buxtehude, Bach, Roman, …). It is easy to transport.
